Be Mine?

John came into town Saturday night, and we celebrated Valentine's early, since he obviously won't be here Wednesday. It was a nice time. We went to Martinique Bistro, which I had only heard about, and it is a very nice restaurant. I had New Zealand venison in a cabernet reduction that was just amazing. John had a yummy duck dish that involved goats cheese and grits. Odd combination, but tasty.

The house is really quiet without Liv around, but Allison is coming into town from the 15th -21st, so that will be nice. I've been mopping the floor out of boredom lately, and I got excited about a new dishwasher detergent I got. I'm obviously losing it. My laundry is sorted, my clothes are folded, most of my books are where they should be... I even usually remember to pick up my shoes and put them away. It's weird.

Oh, also got a cute little stuffed animal for V-day. He's a little puppy, and I've named him Trouble.
